Ryan is a psychotherapist with more than 15 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through periods of change, emotional difficulty and personal growth.

He works with clients experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, stress, depression, grief, relationship difficulties and major life or work transitions. Ryan also supports transgender individuals through gender exploration and transition.

Ryan takes an integrative and person-centred approach, adapting therapy to the needs, experiences and goals of each client.

Ryan believes that meaningful change can emerge through empathic understanding, guided self-discovery and greater alignment with one’s authentic self.

Rather than approaching therapy solely as a way of resolving symptoms or difficulties, his work also focuses on helping clients better understand themselves, recognise existing strengths and develop more compassionate relationships with the different parts of their experience.

Academic Qualification Degree in Social Work and Psychology
Postgraduate Qualification Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling
Specialist Training Extensive training and practice in Expressive Arts Therapy, Sandplay Therapy, Symbol Work and Internal Family Systems Therapy.
Professional Membership Registered Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC)

Ryan offers counselling and psychotherapy through the Gentle Art of Expressive Therapy practice.

Sessions provide space to explore current difficulties, relationships, identity, past experiences or periods of change at a pace that feels manageable.
